Furnishing food to accommodate unforeseen incidents

Tucker County Senior Center volunteers and staff work to assemble emergency food boxes for those receiving home delivered meals or those receiving in home care. The emergency food supply is intended to be used when the center is unable to deliver regular meals or when the homemaker cannot get to work. Putting together the rations for delivery are Mary Smith, Desiree Parsons, Donna Mullennex and Tucker County Senior Center Director Roxanne Tuesing.

PARSONS – The falling leaves will soon give way to flurries of snow, cold weather and ice, which can limit the ability of folks to travel to the supermarkets and even to work.
