Study of Other Faiths
A short series of programs to look at the variety of beliefs that are within the Christian religion will be held at the Thomas Education CenterPotluck at 6 p.m., followed by a presentation and question and answer session on each of the following evenings:
Wednesday, February 24 Father Grassi will speak about Catholic beliefs
Wednesday, March 2 Pastor Ruth will speak about Lutheran beliefs
Wednesday, March 9 Pastor Neil will speak about Methodist beliefs
Wednesday, March 16: to be announced.

Lenten Fish Fry
Lenten Fish Fry will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 at Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St. Thomas Center, in Thomas. Meal includes 8oz. fish, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8. Eat in or carry out, at both locations.
NSDAR Meeting
The Blackwater Chapter,NSDAR will meet at 1 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Lil Andi’s Restaurant in Parsons. All members are urged to attend.
Sunday Dinner
Sunday Dinner at the Szilagyi Center/ Old Rowlesburg High from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28. The menu will consist of Baked Chicken, a variety of vegetables, fruits, salads and desserts and the cost will be $10. Sponsored by Rowlesburg Revitalization Committee.

Historical Society meeting
The Tucker County Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21, at the Tucker County Historical Society Museum in the Tucker County Annex at 501 Chestnut St. Visitors welcome.
PHS Alumni meeting
Due to inclement weather, the Parsons High School Alumni Association rescheduled their meeting to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 at Little Andi’s Restaurant . All Alumni are welcome.

Prayer and Healing Service
There will be a non-denominational prayer and healing service at the First United Methodist Church, of Parsons, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21. These services are held on the third Sunday evening of each month. Pastor William R. Brown welcomes everyone to attend.
