The Tucker Valley Middle School Girls’ and Boys’ Track Team traveled to Doddridge County for their first meet of the season on April 2nd.
Tucker Valley Girls Results:
100 meter: 9th place was Katie Surguy(15.08), 29th Mary Carr(17.23), 36th Sidney Simmons(18.37), 38th Shelby Gooden(19.56). 200 meter: 12th was Karlee Smith(32.20), 18th Sarah Bates(33.49), 30th Jessi Daniels(36.58), 35th was Sidney Simmons(39.33). 400 meter: 12th Kate Falls(1:15.16), 24th Addie Buckley(1:23.27), 28th Saria Pennington(1:24.48), 34th Erin Nestor(1:37.29). 800 meter: 3rd was Caitlin Fladung(2:56.34), 19th Emma Wamsley(3:26.99), 24th Kristen Hicks(3:39.12), 25th Macy Nestor(3:41.83), 30th Erin Nestor(4:05.69). 1600 meter: 5th Kate Falls(6:21.92), 8th London Hood(6:24.14), 22nd K. Nestor. “B” team was 10th was a time of 1:07.96 Daniels, Pennington, Averie Bunnell and Olivia Myers. 4×200 “A” team placed 4th with a time of 2:09.36 Bates, Smith, Surguy, Buckley. “B” team came in 12th with a time of 2:31.35 Pennington, Myers, Averie Bunnell and Vivianna Teter. 4×400 “A” team was 7th with a time of 5:25.26, Falls, Buckley, Hood, Fladung. “B” team was 14th with a time of 6:30.97 Teter, Howell, Hicks and Averie Bunnell. 4x 800 “A” team was 2nd coming in at 12:13.37, Fladung, Smith, Naylor, and Key
“B” team was 13th with a time of 15:10.71, Daniels, Myers, Teter, and E. Nestor. High jump: 4th was Buckley 6th was Wamsley both clearing 4 foot. 12th was M. Nestor clearing 3’8″. Long Jump: 4th was Hood jumping 12’5 1/2″. Eye was 11 jumping 11’6″, Howell was 30th jumping 9’3″ and Hicks came in 32nd jumping 9 foot. Shot put: 10th Lacey Cross with a distance of 27’3″, 18th was Candy Cross putting 24’8″, 28th was Falls at 20’4″, an 41st was Shelby Gooden at 15’1″. Discus Throw:9th was L. Cross was a throw of 53’5 1/2″, 17th Aurora Bunnell throwing 47’2″, 20th Pennington at 44’8″, 30th was Myers 36’2 1/2″ and 34th was Gooden with a throw of 30’5″.

100 meter: 26th Cameron Mullenax(15.38), 33rd Noah Lipscomb(17.42), 34th Tanner Long(17.45), 200 meter: 6th Will White(30.12). 400 meter: 2nd W.White(56.32), 25th Taylor Long(1:17.57), 27th Haden Wamsley(1:18.41). 800 meter: 4th W.White(2:28.31), 14th Hunter Collar(2:52.90), 26th Jonathan Bush(3:20.59). 1600 meter: 18th Clay Poling(6:40.18), 23rd H.Wamsley(7:12). 3200 meter: 9th Trey Key(12:49). 75 meter Hurdles: 20th Wyatt Betler(17.38). 200meter Hurdles: 25th W.Betler(37.86), 31st J.Bush(41.96). 4×100 relay team came in 9th with a time of 1:04.02, Wamsley, Poling, C. Mullenax, and Taylor Long, 4×200 meter Relay team was 9th running a 2:14.64 Seth Bennett, Conor Greenlief, Tate Mullenax and C. Mullenax 4×400 relay team was 12th running a 5:30.29 Greenlief, Poling, Taylor and Tanner Long, 4×800 mete relay came in 8th with a time of 12:00.39 Tanner Long, Bennett, Greenlief and Key, High Jump: 6th was Betler clearing 4’6″. Long Jump: Bring home a 1st place ribbon was Will White jumping 18 feet and 2 inches, 20th was Collar jumping 13’05” and 30th was Bush jumping 10’9″, Shot Put: 21th was T. Mullenax putting the shot at 26’3″, 23rd was Lipscomb at 25’11”, and 32nd was Bennett at 19 feet. Discus Throw: 14th was T. Mullenax with a distance of 66’7″, 29th was Lipscomb throwing 52’2″ and Tanner Long coming in 34th with a throw of 43′ 5″.
The Tucker Valley track team will be back in action tonight April 13th at Grafton(Taylor County) and then they will travel to Doddridge County on April 16th.
