Leadmine Homecoming
The annual Leadmine Homecoming will be Sunday, May 1 at 1 p.m. at the Leadmine Fellowship Building. Bring a covered dish to share and a raffle gift. Everyone welcome.
Thomas Ramp Burgers, Hamburgers and Beans
A ramp burger, bean dinner will be held from 3 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 at the Thomas Volunteer Fire Department. Meal includes burger, beans, corn muffin and drink, $7. Burgers $4, cup of beans $2.50. Eat in or carry out.
Give Local America Day
Tucker Community Foundation will host the second annual Give Local America Day Open House Tuesday, May 3, from 3-6 p.m. beside Highland Market. Visit the new location of the TCF Development Office, tour Highland Market, see what’s cookin’ with the Tucker County Emergency Medical Responders. Register for Run For It or sponsor a team. Find out the latest developments on the Boulder Park project. Attendees names will be entered in a 6 p.m. drawing for three $25 cash awards to donate to their charity of choice.

Helvetia Ramp Supper
Helvetia Ramp Supper, Saturday, April 30. Ramps, ham, fried potatoes, soup beans, coleslaw, applesauce, and cornbread with desserts and beverages. $15 adult. $7 children. 3-8 p.m. or until food runs out. Square dance with music by the Helvetia Star Band follows. $5.
Davis and Camp 70 Community Litter Cleanup
Join Canaan Valley Institute for a community litter cleanup in Davis on Thursday, April 21 from 4-6 p.m. All volunteers welcome, even if you have to leave early or arrive late. Meet in the parking lot across from the Davis Fire Department to collect supplies. Following the cleanup, meet at 6:30 p.m. at the NYSF STEM Center for a community potluck.
