Cortland Foundation, Inc. and Tucker County Prostart program will partner again for the fourth annual Pasta Palooza.
From 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, Chef and Tucker County High School ProStart program instructor Carrie Shahan and her students will create unique pasta dishes for members of the community and Cortland Acres residents. Last year’s event drew rave reviews from the nearly 80 attendees, and the crowd is expected to be even bigger this year.
Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged by e-mailing foundation@cortlandacres.org or by calling 304-463-4181. Donations are appreciated.
“We’re thrilled to join effort’s again with ProStart on for our annual ‘Pasta Palooza,’ ” said Lois Nelson of the Cortland Foundation. “We look forward to providing our residents and the community with an evening of fabulous food and fellowship.”
Diners have the opportunity to pick from a selection of ingredients for their own custom meal.
“This is not only a great meal and a fund-raiser for two worthy organizations, it’s an opportunity for Tucker County High School students to show off their skills during a major event,” Nelson said. “We encourage people from all across the region to join us.”
For more information about “Pasta Palooza” or the Cortland Foundation in general, contact Nelson at 304-463-4181 or email foundation@cortlandacres.org.
