PRO ON TRAC will host a Bike & Hike on Saturday, June 4 at Mill Race Park in Parsons. June 4 is National Trails Day and Pro invites folks of all ages to come and ride or hike on our beautiful Highlands Trail. This is not a race but participants are encouraged to walk, run or ride a bike as far as they feel comfortable. Certificates will be awarded for various distances covered. Prizes will also be handed out to children who register and participate. Early registrations may be done online @ parsonsrevitalization.org or in person at Parsons City Hall. Registration at the park will begin at 8:30am and go until 10 a.m. ON JUNE 4. Hiking and Biking will begin at 9 a.m. End time is noon. Entry fee is $5 for ages 11+ and $3 for ages 10 and under. Food vendors will be on site for purchases. Water bottles will be provided by Dollar General, one of our sponsors. All proceeds benefit PRO ON TRAC’s efforts to revitalize downtown Parsons.
Raffle tickets will be on sale for an adult bike being raffled by Highlands Trail Foundation. Come out and join the fun while enjoying our trail and nature.
