Alice Irene Bryan, 90, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Bon Secours Maria Manor Nursing Care Center. Irene was surrounded by her loving family in St. Petersburg, FL where she went peacefully. Irene was born in Washington, PA on July 20, 1925 to the late James Kilgore and Rosella Ryan. She was a tack welder on Neville Island outside of Pittsburgh, PA during WWII. Irene took pride in being a homemaker and in raising her two children. The later part of her life was spent in St. George, WV with her husband George, where she enjoyed gardening, baking, and feeding the hummingbirds and deer that frequented their property. She was preceded in death by her loving husband George Bryan, and her daughter Laura Thornburg. Irene is survived by her daughter Linda Pearson; grandchildren, Carrie Strait, Tanya Gardner, Jayme Hofmann, Jeff Thornburg, and nine great grandchildren.
