Elkins, WV (July 27, 2016) Hospice Care Corporation hosted its Third Annual Canaan Valley Golf Classic on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Canaan Valley Resort in picturesque Davis, WV. About three dozen individuals came together to play and support this important regional golf tournament for Hospice Care Corporation’s twelve county service area.
This year’s tournament was perfect. The weather and the golfers could not have been better netting close to six thousand dollars. Proceeds will support vital patient end-of-life care and support for individuals and their families here in our area. “Every dollar raised stays here in the WV communities we serve. We truly appreciate the generosity of all of our sponsors, they really came out in full support,” said Cynthia Woodyard.
Open Division: 1st place – Mike Cooper and Ali Forsythe, 2nd place – Luke Freeman and Keith Goldberg, and 3rd place – Keith Willard and Dave Krushansky. In the Fun Division, 1st Place – JD Ware and Chad Ware, 2nd Place – Wayne Holt and Jason Taylor and 3rd Place – Jeff Hockman and VJ Davis.
