ANNUAL MEETING

The Tucker County Farm Bureau annual meeting will be Saturday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Tucker County Senior Center. Bring a covered dish, meat will be provided.

FLANAGAN HILL FALL FESTIVAL

Fall Festival, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Community Building in Red Creek. Roast Beef dinner served from 1 – 5 p.m/; Activities include bake sale, apple butter for sale, corn hole tournament ($5 entry fee), Chinese auction, kids games, bingo, and cross-cut saw competition and raffle tickets with cash prizes. Cake walk beginning at 6:3 0p.m. All proceeds benefit the Flanagan Hill Community Center.

FLU SHOT CLINICS

The Tucker County Health Department will be holding flu shot clinics on Monday, Oct. 3 at First United Methodist Church in Parsons from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 6 at Davis Fire Hall from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. Call the health department at 304-478-3572 for more information

FALL FAITH FESTIVAL

FALL FAITH FESTIVAL will be OCT. 22 at NOON at the THOMAS COMM. CENTER. Sponsored by FRIENDS N FAITH MINISTRIES. Everyone welcome.
Buckwheat Cakes and Sausage

There will be Buckwheat Cakes and Sausage at Masontown United Methodist Church Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 28, 29, 30 and Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Meals prices are adults $9; children $5. Hotdogs, sausage burgers, pop and bottled water also for sale. Bazaar Table – Sept. 29, 30 and Oct. 1.

Aurora Project to Host Annual Barn Dance

The Aurora Project will host the 13th annual Barn Dance at Brookside Farm in Aurora, on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 2 -6 p.m. There will be a silent auction, and refreshments will be provided. Annual Leaf Peepers Talent Contest

4th Annual Leaf Peepers Talent Contest, Sept 24 at 5 p.m. on the Frontier Stage in Davis. Three categories: children, teens and adults with first, second and third place cash prizes in each category. $25.00 entry fee and entries will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Saturdayt. COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH TEEN AND CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

Community Bible Church in Davis invites teens (grades 7-12) to join us for various fun activities the second Sunday of each month, times will vary. K-6th grade children are invited to attend Firm Foundations for Kids the firstt and third Sunday of each month from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Contact Pastor John Callaway at 304-614-2194 for details or transportation in the church van.
