WHEELING – Carleigh Bolyard traveled to Olgebay Resort on Monday October 3rd for a practice round before competing in the State Golf Tournament on Tuesday October 4th and Wednesday October 5th. The State Tournament consist of the best golfers in the state in all three classes. This is a total of 40 golfers in Class “AAA”, 40 golfers in Class “AA” and 41 golfers in Class “A”.
On the first day Bolyard finished the day with a score of 98. This put her in 27th place after 18 of 36 holes of competition. On Wednesday Bolyard struggled and finished the round with a score of 111. This would put Bolyard’s final score to 209. Bolyard finished the Tournament with a 33rd place finish.
