BRIDGEPORT – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Bridgeport to take part in the Region 2 Championship meet on October 20th.
Natalie Evans was the top finisher for the Lady Mt. Lions as she finished with a 43rd place run with a time of 29.51 and Mikala Betler came in 49th place with a time of 32:41.
Will White was the top runner for the Tucker County Boys’ team with a 30th place finish out of 69 runners with a time of 21:03. Other finishers for the Mt. Lions were as follows: 34th Jonathan Rhodes(21:23), 38th Jack Melnick(21:38), 45th Josh Kincaid(22:14), 46th John Anderson(22:19), 47th Chris Chambers(22:20) and 60th Noah Nelson(25:23).
