In an effort to continue helping strengthen and grow manufacturing in West Virginia, the WVMEP is hosting an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach Training Event on November 13 and 14 . This class is for anyone who is responsible for worker safety, and health awareness. Some of the topics that will be covered in this 2-day event include OSHA regulations for walking and working surfaces, fire/means of egress, electrical safety, hazardous communications, ppe,and noise. Successful completion of this 2-day class will provide participants with a better understanding of OSHA requirements for these topics, and how those requirements affect your operation, along with their 10-hour general industry card.
The seminar will be presented by the WVMEP’s Industrial Hygienist, John Frazer, Ph. D. at Cabela’s in Charleston on November 13 and 14, from 8:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. Registration for this two day event is $225 and includes lunch, handouts, and the OSHA 10-hour card. Class size is limited.
