In an effort to continue helping strengthen and grow manufacturing in West Virginia, the WVMEP is hosting an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach Training Event  on November 13 and 14 .  This class is for anyone who is responsible for worker safety, and health awareness.  Some of the topics that will be covered in this 2-day event include OSHA regulations for walking and working surfaces, fire/means of egress, electrical safety, hazardous communications, ppe,and noise.  Successful completion of this 2-day class will provide participants with a better understanding of OSHA requirements for these topics, and how those requirements affect your operation, along with their 10-hour general industry card.

The seminar will be presented by the WVMEP’s Industrial Hygienist, John Frazer, Ph. D. at Cabela’s in Charleston on November 13 and 14, from 8:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m.  Registration for this two day event is $225 and includes lunch, handouts, and the OSHA 10-hour card. Class size is limited.
If you have any questions, or would like to register, please feel free to call Bob Baily,  WVMEP 304.546.3642
