TURNER’S TIDBITS

This is a photo of Dr. Samuel Bucher standing by the Mountain Clinic sign which stood by the road at his 5.38clinic outside of Harman. Dr. Bucher moved to the Harm
an area in 1946 and maintained his practice there until he retired in 1990. He did practice in Davis between times when there were no doctor services. He served the basic medical service to the residents of the former Davis Center for a number of years. He was involved in several medical facilities including Cortland Acres Nursing Home where he served as medical director. My wife, Phyllis, can remember when he would make house calls to their home to give her sister (Sheryl) and herself shots when they had the croup in the winter.
