A Tucker County Grand Jury indicited four individuals in Circuit Court on Oct. 1. Judge Lynn Nelson handed down the following indictments.
• Renee M. Fansler of Hambleton, was charged with seven counts of Fraudulant use of an access device. An EBT (food stamp) card belonging to Amber Burns was used one time on May 14, five times on May 15 and one time on May 16. She was arraigned on Oct. 3 and case is continued until Nov. 4.
• Kenneth Fansler of Hambleton was charged with two counts of Intimidation of a witness. On June 1 it was stated that Fansler attempted to intimidate Amber Burns over the case with Renee Fansler. Later he went by in his vehicle and was yelling at her out the window. He was arraigned on Oct. 3 and the case is continued until Nov.4.
• John Joseph Morton, Jr. of Parsons was charged with Robbery first degree, Battery and assault. On July 16 Morton entered Parsons Rite-Aid and did, at gun point, demand the pharmacist to hand over prescription drugs. He grabbed three bottles of Oxycodone and fled the scene. His motion to reduce bond was denied and Morton is still in Tygart Valley Regional Jail with no bond posted. Pre-trial is set for Nov.3.
• Jessica Nicol Poe of Hambleton was charged with Shoplifting Third Offense and two counts of Child Neglect creating risk of injury. On Aug 13 Poe concealed two 8 oz. cans and one 24 oz. can of Budweiser Strawberita in her purse and exited without paying. On Aug. 13 a call to 911 reported a Silver VW driving recklessly. County law enforcement officers observed the vehicle driving across the center line. When stopped by officers, it was noted that two children were in the backseat without any form of child restraint. She was arraigned on Oct. 3 and case is continued until Nov. 4.
