According to a press release from Parsons City Police Chief, W.R. Rowe, on Thursday, March 2, two people from Parsons were arrested for possession of an animal after being ordered by the Tucker County Courts not to have any animals.
Josh Mitchell of 163 Overlook Drive, was arrested for possessing a dog after being ordered that he could not have any animals for 15 years. Mitchell had previously been convicted for cruelty to animals.
Mindy Durham of 163 Overlook Drive, was arrested for possessing a dog after being ordered that she could not have any animals for 15 years. Durham had been previously arrested for cruelty to animals.
Both plead guilty to these charges in Magistrate Court.
