Learn About The Veteran Administration’s Vets First Verification Program

The Eastern office of the Regional Contracting Assistance Center (RCAC), Martinsburg, WV, in conjunction with Congressman Alex Mooney’s office, Eastern WV Community and Technical College and the Veterans Center at American Public University, will present an informational workshop about the Veteran Administration’s Vets First Verification Program at Eastern on Thursday, March 30th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.


If you are interested in knowing how this program could give your veteran owned business greater opportunities to gain government contracts, then attend this workshop and learn about:

• If your business qualifies
• The process and best practices
• The verification requirements
• Opportunities for SDVOSB/VOSB
• Meet representatives from the Regional Contracting Assistance Center and the Veterans Center at American Public University


The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has special authority for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business/Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB) Set Aside and Sole Source contracts. The Vets First Verification Program allows the VA to set aside specific procurement opportunities for verified SDVOSB and VOSB firms. We look forward to seeing you at this comprehensive workshop.
