Davis Community Litter Cleanup
Join Canaan Valley Institute, Tucker County Rotary, and Friends of Blackwater for a community litter cleanup in Davis on Thursday, April 6 from 4-6 p.m. All volunteers welcome We’ll be picking up trash on Route 93 to the NYSF Center, Route 32 in Davis, Camp 70, and the Blackwater River. DAR Meeting
The Blackwater Chapter, DAR will meet April 8 at 1 p.m. at Lil Andi’s Restaurant in Parsons. All members are urged to attend.
Lenten Fish Fry
Lenten Fish Fry, Friday, April 7, at Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St. Thomas Center, in Thomas from 4 to 7 p.m. Meal includes 8oz. Fish Fillet, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8. Eat in or carry out, at both locations.
TVEMS Field Day
TVEMS will be hosting a Field Day full of fun and enticing events on Friday, April 28 from 12:30-3 p.m. Featured events will include: A Color Run and a Community Dunk Tank. In the event of rain an alternate date has been set for Thursday April 27.
Spring Fling
The Easter Bunny will be at the Parsons Volunteer Fire Department at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. Ice cream and Cake Walk to follow. Everyone welcome.
Davis Community Center Easter Event
will be April 15 Noon. Door prizes for the kids. Easter Egg Hunt for children Ages 0 – 12. Silent & Chinese Auctions. Easter Basket Cake Walk Kids bring a basket to collect your eggs. Easter Bunny will be making an appearance. Everyone welcome.
Easter Egg Hunt
