Hundreds of youngsters turned out Saturday for the Parsons Parks and Recreation Commission’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt held in Mill Race Park. Volunteers helped the Easter Bunny hide approximately 3,500 eggs in the park.
Kids were divided into three age groups: infant to 4, 5 to 8, and 9 to 12. Plastic eggs loaded with candy, some with prize tickets, and golden eggs filled with cash.
“We look forward to this event every year,” said PPRC’s President Kennetha Greenlief. This event brings families together to have fun and to celebrate this joyous occasion.”
