Structure fire along 219 south and Moore Station road

Parsons VFD responded last Wednesday evening to a structure fire along 219 south and Moore Station road. The structure was not occupied at the time of the fire and the cause is unknown.


PVFD responded with 13 men, two engines, one tanker and three support apparatus. They were assisted by Leading Creek VFD with eight men, two engines and one support vehicle. Thomas VFD was on standby at PVFD’s station.
 
 WV State Police handled traffic control, Tucker EMS was on scene for any medical issue that arose, WVDOH worked to clear the road of debris and Tucker 911 provided resources upon request.
 
PVFD Chief Kevin White said, “Once again all entities worked as a team to handle the task and everyone went home safe.”
