TRAVEL NEWS
We will be collecting the final payment for the Pirates baseball trip on Thursday, June 1st. We do have several seats still available but we need to know immediately if you are interested because we have to turn in our unsold seats. The price is $125 per person which includes your ticket to the game, the motor coach and a ride on the Gateway Clipper Shuttle to PNC Park. We will also be collecting for the September 10, 2017 to September 15, 2017 trip to Myrtle Beach on June 1st. The cost of this trip will be $ 700.00 per person based on double occupancy. There ARE still some spaces available so if you are interested, please give us a call. If you have any questions, feel free to call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423.
We realize that it is early but plans have been made for a return Christmas trip to the Galt House in Louisville, KY. We will be going November 27 – 30. We have included the luncheon cruise on the Spirit of Jefferson, Churchill Downs, the Mega Caverns and several other attractions. The price will be $700. We will not begin collecting until July 6th but you can start saving now. The payments will be $ 140 per person. If you are interested, please call and get your name and phone number on the list. The list is starting to fill up so call quickly. As always, we will call the people in the order of the list.
Keep your eyes open because we are working on some 1 and 2 day trips. As soon as we have things worked out we will put it in the newspapers and the newsletters.
PARSONS OUTPOST
The Parsons Center will be having their monthly outpost on Thursday June 6, 2017 beginning at 10:30 a.m. The West Virginia Extension Office will be presenting an interesting program. Please bring your favorite covered dish and join us as we fellowship together.
SENIOR OLYMPICS
The senior Olympics will be held in Keyser, WV June 6 – 9. This will be a fun time to make new friends and renew old friendships. We want to wish our Olympians good luck.
