According to a press release from the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department, on Wednesday, July 12 at approximately 7:55 p.m. members of the Tucker County Sheriff’s office, West Virginia State Police, Company 10, Company 20 along with EMS personnel were dispatched to Sugarlands Road for a commercial vehicle accident.
The driver from the Delaware area was trapped in the vehicle due to damage. Thanks to the quick and professional response by emergency personnel, the driver was able to be extricated from the vehicle and air lifted to the hospital. The Tucker County Sheriff’s office is investigating the accident.
