The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • Jessica Nicole Bryan, Harman, was charged with Burglary.  According to the complaint in the early morning hours of July 28, Tammy Lynn (Nelson) and Jessica Nicole Bryan arrived at Timberline Four Seasons Realty Office and stole the keys from the late arrival box for a residence located at 141 Deerfield Village.  The two subjects drove to the residence and allegedly entered using the keys they had stolen.  Once inside, they allegedly stole several items including but not limited to a TV, DVD player, lamps, pictures and other items.  They destroyed one interior door in order to gain entry to a locked closet.

On Thursday, Aug. 17 Sgt. C.D. Siler, of the West Virginia State Police, executed a search warrant at the residence of Tammy Mook and located several items that had been stolen from the Gum Residence.  He obtained a statement from her after reading her Miranda Rights.  She signed the form and stated that she understood her rights and confessed to the crime and allegedly implicated the defendant.

On the same date, Siler executed a search warrant at the residence of the defendant.  It should be noted that this residence is owned by Mook’s father. Therefore Mook had access to the garages as well as the residence.  During this search warrant several more items were located.  One being an oak rocking chair that they put on the front porch of the Bryan residence after it was stolen.

On this same date Siler met with the defendant and went over her Miranda Rights. She initialed and signed this form stating that she understood her rights and wanted to give a statement.  In this statement, she confessed to the crime and allegedly implicated Mook.

Bryan posted a $10,000 bond and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 28 at 1:30 p.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
