ELKINS – The Wildcats Middle School Football team traveled to Elkins Middle to face the Hornets last Wednesday September 27th. Tucker Valley fell in the contest by the final score of 32-0.
Elkins jumped out to the lead in the first quarter as the home team scored two times in the period to led Tucker Valley 12-0 after the first quarter of play. The Wildcats continued to struggle on offense in the second quarter. The Hornets found the end zone once more in the second quarter and Elkins took an 18-0 advantage into the locker room at the half.
In the third quarter Elkins would add another score to make the score 25-0 Hornets after three quarters of play. Tucker Valley could not get the offense going in the fourth quarter and Elkins added one more touchdown to make the final score 32-0 Elkins.
