Linda Lee Hall Dodge, age 71 years, a resident of Parsons, WV departed this life Thursday morning, September 28, 2017 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV with her loving husband by her side.


She was born Wednesday, November 21, 1945 at Alexandria, VA, a daughter of the late Hazel Mae Hall.  She was twice married.  First to Gerold Lowe and then on May 4, 1987 at Washington, DC, she was married to William Lloyd Dodge, who she loved dearly and survives in Parsons, WV.

Also surviving are one daughter, Merry Lynn Lowe of Parsons; two step-sons, Richard Dodge of Port Tobacco, MD and Roger Dodge of Denver, CO; two step-daughters, Susan E. Dodge-Aular and Carol J. Dodge-Leighton, both of Alexandria, VA; eight step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

She attended the schools of Washington, D.C.  She was a homemaker and a Foster Grandparent with the Tucker County Board of Education Preschool.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.   During her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and loved her dogs, Penny and Murphy.

Mrs. Dodge’s request for cremation will be honored and inurnment will take place at the Parsons City Cemetery at a later date.
