The Tucker County Grand Jury handed down indictments on six individuals. Judge Lynn A. Nelson presided.
Tammy Lynn Wratchford,, Parsons, was indicted for one count Possession of Controlled Substance with intent to deliver; three charges of Child Neglect creating risk of serious bodily injury and one count Driving Revoked for DUI. The original charge stemmed from an Aug. 4 traffic stop for a non operational registration light by Cpl. D.W. Burge of the West Virginia State Police. She was known to have an invalid operators license and when asked could not produce a driver’s license, insurance card or registration card. She was in possession of a drug pipe, crushed pills, a white crystalline substance suspected to be meth, digital scales, a marijuana pipe, two spoons with a white powder residue and $521 cash. Also in the car were three juvenile children.
John Michael Delsignore, Jr., Hambleton, was indicted for one count Possession of Controlled Substance with intent to deliver. On March 18 Cpl. J.E. Kopec, of the West Virginia State Police, initiated a suspicious vehicle stop and encountered Delsignore and a passenger. There were multiple items thrown from the vehicle that turned out to be drugs and drug paraphernalia and the defendant admitted the drugs were his. Delsignore was originally under a $25,000 bond.
Danielle Renee Bean, Keyser, was indicted for two counts of Transferring/Receiving Stolen Property; one count Conspiracy and one count Persons Prohibited from Possessing Firearms. On May 28 a burglary complaint was called in advising someone had broken in and stolen guns from a residence in New Creek. A subject from Thomas called the WVSP and advised he had five firearms given to him by Daniel Bean. Two other individuals advised that Daniel and Danielle Bean attempted to have them sell the guns for them. The firearms were valued at several thousand dollars. Bean had originally posted a $5,000 bond.
Daniel Scott Bean, Keyser, was indicted for two counts of Transferring/Receiving Stolen Property; one count Conspiracy and one count Persons Prohibited from Possessing Firearms. Steven Jordan Swiger, Belington, was indicted for one count Fleeing from an Officer with Reckless Indifference; one count Driving Revoked for DUI; one count Reckless Driving and one count Receiving or Transferring Stolen Vehicle. On May 10, Parsons Police Chief W.R. Rowe observed a vehicle speeding and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle ran a red light and failed to stop for the officer. The pursuit reached speeds of 105 mph and when the defendant crashed the vehicle, he fled the scene but was soon apprehended. He was originally under a $4,000 bond.
Garrett A. Deberry, Davis, was indicted for one count Escape from Custody of the Director of Juvenile Services; one count Destruction of Property and one count Breaking and Entering Automobile. On July 30 Deberry escaped from the Kenneth “Honey” Rubenstein Center and broke into a truck at the Youth Science Center. He also entered a bus, busted the steering column and stole items from the vehicle. His original bond was $5,000 cash.
