We are continuing to take collections for the Christmas trip to Louisville, KY on November 27th – 30th. The next payment is due Thursday, November 2nd.
SHIP REPRESENTATIVE IN PARSONS
The SHIP representative will be at The Parsons Center on Thursday, October 12th to answer any questions you may have about your Medicare insurance and supplemental plans. Remember that the Open Enrollment is October 15th through December 7th. Please do not wait until the last minute to schedule an appointment. Please call 304-636-4747 to set up an appointment with the SHIP representative. They will be at the Parsons Center every Thursday beginning on October 12th except Thanksgiving until the end of Open Enrollment.
PARSONS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
The Parsons Center will be holding their monthly birthday celebration on Thursday, October19, 2017. Please join us as we honor those having an October birthday with song and a delicious cake provided by WV Caring.
ST. GEORGE OUTPOST
The monthly St. George Outpost will be held at the United Methodist Church in St. George on Thursday, October 19, 2017. We want to invite the community to join us in fun and fellowship. Please bring your favorite covered dish and join us at 6:00 p.m.
PAPER PRODUCTS BINGO
The Parsons Center will have paper products bingo on Friday, October 20th after lunch. The volunteer that provides the prizes will be here to start at noon. This is a free service provided by our volunteer.
FLU SHOTS
Representatives from The St. George Clinic will be at Mt. Top Center on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 to give flu shots. They will be there from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
CHOIR TO HARMAN
The Goldenaires Choir will be traveling to the Harman Center on Wednesday, October 18th to entertain. If you are available, you may want to meet us there.
MT TOP GAME DAY
We will have our game day at Mt. Top Center on Tuesday, October 24th at 10:30 a.m. We have a variety of games including ladder ball, corn hole, pick-up sticks, tiddly winks, card games, and trivia. Please come join us for some fun.
FLANAGAN HILL OUTPOST
Please join us for the final Flanagan Hill Outpost of the year. It will be held at the Community Building at Flanagan Hill at noon on Wednesday, October 25th. Please bring your favorite covered dish and join in the fun and fellowship.
PITTSBURGH PIRATES BASEBALL GAME
We have been contacted by the Pirates to see if we want an evening game or a day game next year. We would like your opinion. If we do a day game, it will be a 1 day trip and all we will do is go to the baseball game. If we do a 2 day trip we can plan something before the game on the 1st day, tour the park and see batting practice, then do some touring on the 2nd day before returning home.
