Fair Board to Elect Directors
The Tucker County Fair Board will be electing the Board of Directors at their meeting on Tuesday, November 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Parsons Senior Center. All lifetime members are invited to attend to elect the 2018 Board of Directors. Following the election there will be a brief meeting and officers will be elected. BINGO
The Parsons Volunteer Fire Department will have Bingo at the fire hall at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11. Doors open at 6 p.m. Everyone welcome.
Roundtables

Buckwheat Dinner
The St. John’s United Methodist Men are having a buckwheat dinner from 4 – 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at the St. John’s United Methodist Church. Dinners are $8. Everyone welcome.
Mt. Grove VFD Shooting Match
Mt. Grove VFD is sponsoring a shooting match from 1 p.m. – ? Sunday, Nov. 19. Shells furnished by Mt. Grove, 12/16/20 gauge shotguns only. Concessions will be available. Everyone welcome.
Holiday Craft Show
The Thomas Parks & Rec Board will hold their annual holiday craft show on Saturday, November 18 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Thomas Community Center. There will also be a silent auction and refreshments will be sold. Everyone welcome.
PHS Alumni meeting
The Parsons High School Alumni Association will meet on Thursday, November 9 at Little Andi’s Restaurant in Parsons at 5 p.m.
Plans are underway for the May 2018 PHS alumni weekend and your input and ideas are necessary.
