The Potomac Valley Conference announced this year’s football PVC All-Conference team on November 7th. Tucker County landed 5 players as First Team selections, 8 players chosen as Second Team Honors and 3 Mt. Lions were placed on the Honorable Mention list.
Tucker County’s Brett Reall collected First Team honors in the Inside Linebackers category. Owen Poling was placed on the First Team as an Offensive Line selection. Ben Cromer was a First Team selection as a Wide Receiver for the Mt. Lions. Cole Rapp was honored as a First Team selection in the Fullback category. Ben Callaway rounded out the First Team selections as he was picked in the Punter category.
In the Second Team selections Tucker County placed 8 players on the list. Byron Gidley placed on the Second team as Defensive Line and Owen Poling collected a Second Team honor as a Defensive End. Ben Callaway was placed on the Second Team as a Defensive Back and Cole Rapp collected Second Team honors as a Defensive Utility Player. On offense Tucker County quarterback Luke Poling collected Second Team honors and Brett Reall also took Second Team honors as Running Back for the Mt. Lions. The last Second Team honor for Tucker County was Seth Cangley as an Offensive Line category.
The last selections for the PVC-All Conference was the Honorable Mention selections. On defense Ben Cromer collected Honorable Mention as a Defensive Back. On offense the Mt. Lions placed 2 players on the Honorable Mention list. Raine McCauley was selected as an Offensive Line and Ben Callaway took Honorable Mention honors at Wide Receiver for Tucker County.
