College offers students the ability to complete three credit hours in four weeks
(Moorefield, WV)- Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College today announced a new Winter Intersession that will run from December 11 through January 12, for students interested completing coursework in a shortened, condensed period of time.
“Our students require flexibility in their class schedules,” said Dr. Chuck Terrell, President. “The new Winter Intersession fully immerses students in one of our more in-demand courses which enables them to complete three credit hours in approximately one month – as opposed to our typical classes which take approximately three months to complete. In addition, all courses are online, and three of the classes are transferable to a university.”
The three credit-hour, Winter Intersession courses available include:
- ST: Introduction to Social Media (199-WB1)
- English Composition I (101-WB2)
- Introduction to Sociology (203-WB1)
- Understanding Human Diversity (147-WB2)
The Winter Intersession term schedule is as follows:
- November 1 – December 8 – Continuous Pre-registration During Regular Business Hours
- December 11 – Classes Begin
- December 12 – Add/Drop Period
- January 2 – Last Day to Withdraw with a Grade of “W”
- January 5 – Last day of Winter Term Classes
- January 8-12 Final Exams
