The Tucker Valley Middle School Boys’ Varsity Basketball team traveled to Petersburg on Thursday January 11th for 2 games. The Wildcats got the victory in the JV contest by the final score of 37-27. Rory Nestor led Tucker Valley with 13 points and Ethan Rosenau added 10 points in the win for the Wildcats. In the varsity contest Petersburg took the home win by the final score of 45-34. Zach Long led Tucker Valley with 10 points and Trent Eure added 9 points for the Wildcats in the loss.
On Friday January 12th Tucker Valley hosted Elkins for a JV and Varsity contests. The Wildcats JV team fell in a tight contest by the final score of 49-47. Rory Nestor and Drew Stienman led Tucker Valley with 11 points each. In the Varsity contest Elkins took the road victory in another close game 46-42. Trent Eure led Tucker Valley with 20 points and Zach Long followed with 19 points in the Wildcats loss.
