The Tucker Valley Girls’ JV Basketball teams traveled to Petersburg on Monday January 22nd. In the first contest the Tucker Valley JV team fell in the contest 36-17. Brylee Wetzel led Tucker Valley with 6 points and Shaleigh Darlington added 4 points in the Lady Wildcats loss. In the varsity game Tucker Valley fell by the final score of 45-25. Jaydon Kuhn led the Lady Wildcats with 11 points and London Hood chipped in with 8 points in the Tucker Valley road loss.
The Lady Wildcats traveled to Elkins on Tuesday January 23rd for 2 games. The JV team fell in the first contest by the final score of 25-13. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Macy Helmick and Brylee Wetzel with 6 points each. In the varsity contest Tucker Valley took the win by the final score of 32-21. Jayden Kuhn led Tucker Valley and Jessi Daniels added 8 points in the road victory.
The Tucker Valley varsity team faced off against in county foe Davis-Thomas at TCHS on Saturday January 27th. Tucker Valley got the win by the final score of 39-15. London Hood led the Lady Wildcats with 11 points and Macy Helmick added 8 points in the win for Tucker Valley.
