The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
Katharine W. Parker, Bowden, was cited for expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Justina R. Wimer, Parsons, was cited for expired MVI, no insurance and expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charges were dismissed with proof shown.
Eli Nestor, Woodbridge, Va. was cited for no operators by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Alicia R. Lambert, Parsons, was cited for speeding (69-55) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
Sara J. Yoke, S. Charleston, was cited for expired registration and expired MVI. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
Joshua L. Arbogast, Essex, Md. was cited for hunting without permission by Brial E. Nuzum. He was assessed fines of $20 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
William Robert Snyder, Thomas, was charged with Violation of Domestic Violence Order. According to the complaint on Sunday, Feb. 4 at approximately 8 p.m. Deputy B.T. Zirk of the Tucker County Sheriff’s office and Cpl. D.W. Burge of the West Virginia State Police were dispatched by 911 to 401 Main Street in Parsons for a report of a violation of domestic violence protective order (DVPO). Upon arrival the officers observed the defendant standing in the yard in front of the residence and the petitioner (Kandice Lee Sponaugle) sitting on the porch. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Parsons Detachment of the WVSP for processing then to Tygart Valley Regional Jail. A cash bond of $2,500 was not entered, a PR bond of $2,500 was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for March 22 at 10:30 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
Victor Scott Arnett, Bruceton Mills, was charged with Violation of Protective Order. The complaint states that on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 2:57 p.m. the defendant was served a protective order. On Friday, Feb. 2 at approximately 11:45 a.m. a call came into 911 in reference to the accused being at the petitioner (Kristen Anne Mick’s) residence. Cpl. J.E. Kopec arrived on scene and observed the defendant to be pulling away from the residence. Kopec stopped him and arrested him for violating the protective order where it states that the respondent shall refrain from entering or being present in the immediate environs of the petitioner’s residence. The accused was arrested and transported to the Parsons State Police Detachment for processing. A cash bond of $4,000 was not entered, a property/surety bond of $4,000 was posted and a Bench Trial is scheduled for April 12 at 10:30 before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
Trista Renee Harper, Parsons, was charged with Harassment by electronic device. According to the complaint, on Saturday, Feb. 3 the defendant allegedly posted Screen Shots of old messages on Facebook. Then she allegedly posted messages on Facebook toward Robert Davis Bennett and Robert Douglas Bennett. A PR bond of $500 was posted and a Bench Trial is scheduled for April 2 at 10:30 p.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.

State of West Virginia verses Donald A. Poling, Fairmont, received judgment of Motion by the Prosecuting
Attorney to dismiss-Granted by the Magistrate-No fees charged on the case for one count Violation of Personal Safety Order-1st offense. This case was heard on Feb. 6 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
State of West Virginia verses David Eugene Pauling, East Lynn, received judgment of Motion by the Prosecuting
Attorney to dismiss-Granted by the Magistrate-No fees charged on the case for one count brandishing a deadly weapon which occurred on Oct. 28, 2017. Motion by the State was granted. This case was heard on Feb.1 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
West verses Whitehair, received judgment in favor of Sherlyn West against Kimberly Whitehair in the amount of $800 plus $85 court cost and Whitehair must vacate premises by Feb. 28. This case was heard on Feb. 6 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
State of West Virginia verses Adam W. Beverage, Huttonsville, received judgment of guilty-plea agreement for one count False Representation which occurred on Nov.16, 2014. He was assessed fines of $100; cost and fees of $165.25 and must make restitution of $1,728. This case was heard on Jan 26 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
State of West Virginia verses Tabatha Marie Watson, Dry Fork, received judgment of guilty plea for one count driving under influence of controlled substance or drugs which occurred on Dec. 7, 2017. She was assessed fines of $100 and cost and fees of $240.25 with time served of one day. This case was heard on Jan 25 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
