This is a photo of Celestine Bonner Teter (1891-1954). She was the daughter of Martin Van Buren and Melissa Jane Cooper Bonner and was born in the Red Creek area. Melissa Jane Cooper was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Wimer Cooper; early settlers of the Flanagan Hill area. Celestine had the following brothers and sisters: Casper Bonner, Delphie Bonner, Sterlie Bonner. She was married March 16, 1911 to Ira Franklin “Frank” Teter (1884-1958). They had the following children: Ira Glenn (1912-1980), Carl Lee (1913-1998), Rondal Leon born 1916, Dorothy (1922-2005) was married to Allen Hile.
