Robert Lee Lycliter, age 54 years, a native of Tucker County and a resident of Terra Alta, WV, departed this life Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his home. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
He was born Tuesday, January 14, 1964 at Parsons, WV, a son of Donald Lee and Linda Mae Huffman Lycliter, who survives. He was previously married to the former Cammy Moats, who survives at Inwood, WV. Also surviving is his longtime companion, Joyce Sparr.
Also surviving are three daughters, Traci Barrientos and husband Randy of Ranson, WV, Stephanie Lycliter and Kaitlyn Lycliter, both of Inwood, WV; one brother, Donald Jamie Lycliter and wife Teresa of Parsons; two sisters, Debra Ann “Debbie” Sharp and husband Eddie and Sharon Lynn Young, all of Waynesboro, VA; and two grandchildren, Kayden and Juliana.
He was a graduate of Tucker County High School with the Class of 1982. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a Lumber Grader, working for the Allegheny Wood Products at Hazleton, WV. Robert was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved gardening. He was an avid sports and Mountaineer Fan and he was a hard and a faithful worker.
The family received friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, WV on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 12 Noon. Rev. Pat Cassidy will officiate, and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, WV. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Robert Lee Lycliter.
