The St. John’s United Methodist Church will bid farewell to Rev. Philip Dent. Dent will be retiring and moving back to his home-place in Rockport WV.
A Farewell Reception & Retirement Celebration will be in the Smith Chapel Fellowship Hall of St. John’s UM Church on Saturday, June 16 from 3-6 p.m.. Light snacks and a table for cards and gifts of appreciation. Everyone is welcome
He is the son of the late Albert Macobee “Mac” and Betty Lou Stanley Dent of Rockport WV. He has been married to Tracey Tuell Dent for 35 years and has four children: Lacey Marie Evans (Josh) of Hambleton WV, Stacey Louise Favor (Jason) of Danese WV, Philip Brandon Dent of Morgantown WV, and Emily Lou Dent also of Hambleton WV, and two grandchildren: Kiley Lynn Favor and Josiah Harvey Favor of Danese WV.
