City of Parsons Police Department News
On Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7:44 a.m., a missing person report came into the Parsons Police Department. William Joseph Knotts, 47, of 513 Main Street had left his residence the previous evening and had not returned. 911 Dispatch was notified by neighbors concerned for his well-being and a search of the local area was conducted by Parsons Police Department, The Tucker County Sheriff’s Department, and the West Virginia State Police. Knotts was located about three hours later, injured but alive. He was taken to Elkins for further medical evaluation and treatment.
