Flag mural at Mt Top Convenience

This whole idea of painting a flag on the side of Mt Top Convenience started a few years back.  Owner, Mike Markwood said, “My wife Tammy and I were on a Motorcycle trip headed to Sturgis SD.  While traveling through the beautiful farm lands in many of the states, we really enjoyed the paintings on numerous barns in Ohio.

A couple years passed and as we were traveling through Ohio, once again we saw a beautiful American Flag on the side of a building.  We took a picture of it and once we got home we showed it to our partner Doug Smith.  He liked it as well and we started looking online for someone who might have painted these paintings.”

“A few months back,I found the The Barn Artist and contacted him about doing our flag painting.  He was several months booked out but we agreed on a time.  His work is amazing!  We are very patriotic people, love our Veterans and love our country and I think this flag represents that. stated Markwood.

Markwood sid, “We would like for people to stop and enjoy photographing our flag mural.  If they would like to share their picture to our Facebook Page @mttopconvenience that would be great.”
The Barn Artist website is barnartist.com.
