Uncle Sam’s Birthday Party
Tickets are on sale now featuring a $5,000 jackpot. The dinner will be on Friday, June 29 at Canaan Valley Resort. Social hour at 5:15 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets $125 and entitle the bearer to a dinner for two and one chance on a door prize.

St.George Days
St.George Days will be Saturday and Sunday, June 23 and 24. As a fundraiser, the St. George Methodist Women will be selling hot dog platters at the church fellowship hallat 11 am on Saturday. The community is participating in yard sales throughout the day, and a cake walk is scheduled at the church pavilion at 6 p.m. The Sunday church service begins at 10 a.m., followed by a community covered dish dinner at 1 p.m. and gospel sing immediately following.
Bake Sale and Lunch
St. George Church of God will be having a bake sale and serving lunch on Saturday, June 23 at 9 a.m. Sloppy joes, macaroni salad, baked beans, dessert and water for $6. Everyone welcome.
