Thomas, WV – The Cortland Challengers Run For IT team will provide free parking and concession items in the Cortland Acres parking lot during the Mountaineer Days fireworks display this Saturday. In addition to free parking, hot dogs, pepperoni rolls, popcorn, soft drinks, water and glow-in-the-dark trinkets will be sold to benefit the residents of Cortland Acres. Concessions will open around 6:30 p.m. and continue while supplies last.
Now in its third year, the annual Foundation fundraiser provides a safe and family-friendly venue to view the fireworks. “We really have a fantastic vantage point for enjoying the fireworks and relaxing with family,” explains Run For IT Team Co-Captain, Teresa Lycliter. “It’s so nice to see people come out and support the Cortland Challengers team year after year. Every dollar raised for the Challengers benefit the residents of Cortland Acres.”
