Vacation Bible School
Community Bible Church will have Vacation Bible School on July 16-20 from 6 – 8 p.m. The theme is Moose on the Loose. The church van will be available. Call Pastor John Callaway for information.
Shipwrecked – Vacation Bible School
St. John’s Lutheran Church, will have Vacation Bible School for children, grades K-6. The theme is ‘Shipwrecked.’ This bible school will start Sunday, July 15 from 6-8 pm, and continue Monday – Wednesday, July 16-18, from 9:30 am until noon each day. Activities will be led by our mission partners, young people and adults from Grace UMC, in Center Hall, PA.

Chicken Burn
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will be having a Chicken Burn Saturday, July 14 at 11 a.m. until all meals are sold. $10 meal includes 1/2 chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, homemade roll and desert, and water. Proceeds benefit Bolivian Missions.
Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees meeting
The next meeting of the Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees will be at the library on Thursday, July 19 at 5 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.
Breakfast Burrito Bar at CVVFD
Saturday July 14 from 8 – 11 a.m. at the Canaan Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Made to order breakfast burritos along with homemade sausage gravy and biscuits. Proceeds to support CVVFD.
Spruce Knob – Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area Volunteer Day & Celebration
Volunteer Day and Celebration will be Saturday, July 28 from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Meet at the Seneca Rocks Visitor Center and be prepared for the day and have sturdy hiking boots, long pants, work gloves, plenty of water, snacks, and other clothing appropriate for the weather. We will be working on the trail rain or shine.This program is open to individuals and families with children 12 and older. Pre-registration is required, participation is FREE.
Parsons Church of God VBS
Parsons Church of God VBS will be Tuesday, July 17 thru Friday July 20 at 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Instead of taking up monetary offerings, we will be asking the children to bring food items for the local food pantry. Girls bring Ramen noodles and boys bring macaroni and cheese.
