TAILGATE PARTY – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13 with LIVE FEED. Family, Fun, Food and Football in the Downtown Parking Lot on Walnut Street. *Best Tailgate Party *Wing Cook Off * Best Fan * Corn Hole Tournament . Early registration, before October 5 is $20 per space (after, $25 per space). Wrist bands will be required for entry to watch the game (6 included per space) – early purchase is $10 or $15 the day of the party. All proceeds go towards replacing the lights at the River City Park Baseball Field.

Annual Aurora Barn Dance
Annual Aurora Barn Dance at Brookside Farm, next Cathedral State Park, on Sunday, October 7 from 2 to 6 p.m. Live music, dancing and great homemade food. Door Prizes and Silent Auction. Apple cider will be available. $15 per person which includes entertainment, food and door prizes. Children under 10 are free.

Halloween Pumpkin & Rock Painting
Bring the kids out to Mill Race Park Saturday, October 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. to paint a pumpkin and a rock for Halloween and then walk the park to get their treats. Parsons Volunteer Fire Department will have Bingo on Oct. 13 at the PVFD Social Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m., Bingo at 7 p.m.

PHS Alumni Meeting
The Parsons High School Alumni Association will meet October 11 at 5 p.m. at Little Andi’s Restaurant. Plans for the 2019 alumni weekend will be discussed.
Red Cross Blood Drive

St. George Fall Festival
The St. George Community Park will have the Annual Fall Festival at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. Chicken dinners will be ready at 2 p.m. There will be hotdogs, baked goods, silent auction, kid’s games, bouncy house, yard sales, hay rides and much more.
Harvest Dinner
The Harvest Dinner is October 14 at Camp Kidd at 3 p.m. Bring a covered dish to share. The Fair Board will privide pork and drinks. If you are interested in being on the 2019 Tucker County Fair Board we encourage you to attend.
