Rhonda Kay (James) Crowl,51 of Davis, WV, passed away October 10,2018 at her home..


She was born, April 21, 1967 in Piqua, OH, She was preceded in death by her mother Alma Louise James in 1995. and her father in law Enoch Crowl.

She is survived by her father Ronald Dale James Sr. and her step-mother Susan James, also surviving is her husband Fred Crowl Jr., 1 daughter, Alicia (Daniel) Lane, Spencer, WV and 1 son, Jonathan Smith, Morgantown, WV. Four brothers, Ronald Dale James Jr., West Virginia, Randal Keith (Marta) James, Ohio, Ross Eric (Candice) James, Utah, and Richard Allen (Janae) James, Ohio. Five grandchildren, Emma Grace Lane, Mason Kash Lane, Nash Andrew Lane, Jewelleah Claire Smith , James Ray Smith . Four step-children Missy (Pete) Scott, Holly (Howard) Crowl, Michelle (Tommy) Crowl, Freddy (Holly) Crowl, 11 step- grandchildren, Jordan and Tyler Michaels, Ryan Delsignore, David and Derek Scott, Cody, Haley and Hannah Cussins, Marcus and Kaili Crowl and Allison Cooper, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, good friends and two furry companions, Remi and Ginger.

Rhonda was employed at Best of Canaan as a housekeeper, and was a member of the FOE 936 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and hunting, and also enjoyed collecting bears.

A graveside service will be held at Davis Cemetery on October 20, 2018 at 1 p.m. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be made to the family at www.hinklefuneralhome.com
