The Forest Service Research Station submitted a graph which uses precipitation data from the Forest Service’s Nursery Bottom site in Parsons to show that:
(1) we had the wettest September and February since 1899 (119 years), and
(2) If we receive only about three more inches of rain in November and December, we will set a new record for the wettest year since 1899.
(2) If we receive only about three more inches of rain in November and December, we will set a new record for the wettest year since 1899.
While we all know its been wet, we may not know that we’re approaching a record.
