The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Kelsie Sky Odessa Hebb, Parsons, was charged with one felony count of Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. According to the complaint, on Dec. 12 officers with the Mountain Region Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, Tucker County Sheriff’s Office and the West Virginia State Police served a lawful search warrant at the residence of Kelsie Hebb at 29 Nestor Hollow Rd. Upon arrival officers knocked on the door and no one answered. Officers then breached the door and located the defendant lying on a couch in the living room area. She was wearing a black jacket and allegedly located in the pocket was a package of suspected heroin. There was a Raven Arms .25 caliber pistol in the right pocket. She allegedly advised she did have heroin in the left pocket. And the pistol was used for protection. Officers located a safe under the couch cushion which allegedly contained $1,900 along with miscellaneous pills in which the defendant allegedly advised that they were hydros and that she did not have a prescription. Officers located two packages of suspected heroin in one on the defendant’s purses along with her identification, a set of digital scales along with $900 in US currency. The defendant stated that she did not have a job, but baby sits for one of her friends from time to time. Inside the black purse was a set of digital scales, a loaded Smith and Wesson .40 caliber semi auto handgun and a pink colored container with which contained a package with a crystal like substance that is consistent with crystal methamphetamine. Officers allegedly located a large package of a tan powdery substance under the love seat cushion that is consistent with heroin. She is under a $25,000 cash only bond.
The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Carley Brooks Eye, Eglon, received judgment of Dismissed-Deferred sentence for two counts Battery. She received Deferred Sentence of 6 months. She must report to Tucker County Community Corrections for drug screening and substance abuse counseling.
- State of West Virginia verses Tonia Lee Armstrong, Dry Fork, received judgment of Preliminary Hearing waived for one felony count Malicious or unlawful assault causing bodily injury with intent to maim, disfigure, disable or kill. This case was bound over to Tucker County Circuit Court.
- State of West Virginia verses Kenneth John Helmick, Davis, received judgment of guilty-plea agreement for one count Domestic battery. He received a one year suspended jail sentence and must attend Day Reporting Center of one year. He was assessed cost and fees of $165.25. He also received judgment of Dismissed-plea agreement for one count unlawful injury to or destruction of property. A motion by the State to dismiss was granted.
