Cortland Acre staff set New Year’s resolutions for 2019

Thomas, WV – Starting a new year is an opportunity to renew, restore and plan for the future. And the management at Cortland Acres took advantage of the occasion to celebrate a successful 2018 and raise the bar even higher for 2019. Toasting with sparkling grape juice, resolutions were made for the Vision 2030: Leading The Way initiative, resident-center care as well as communication and retention.

Toasting the future of Cortland are Charity Phillips, Denise Leary, Jerry Marsh, Cris Lambruno, Dan Bucher, Teresa Tennent, Lois Nelson, Brooke Mangold, Lesa Jordan, Robin Eye, Mary Teets, (back to camera) Leann Jones & Ashley Ketterman.

“Our New Year’s toast was a chance to reflect on the previous year and articulate strategies for Cortlands’ future,” explains administrator Beth Clevenger. “We’ve had so many wonderful successes this past year – consistent five-star service ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service, impressive additions to our already talented staff, and of course the introduction of Vision 2030 that it seemed only natural to get together and make resolutions together…for our future.”

Cortland Acres is a non-profit corporation offering state-of-the-art nursing care and skilled rehabilitation on a spacious 35-acre campus in the heart of scenic Tucker County, West Virginia. The Cortland campus includes a 94-bed long-term care facility, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and therapy options, as well as a variety of independent living opportunities. For more information call 304-463-4181 or visit www.cortlandacres.org.
