MOOREFIELD – The Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball team made the trip to Moorefield on Thursday January 10th. In the JV contest the Lady Wildcats fell in a close game 18-16. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Jayden Moore, Katie Hicks and Brylee Wetzel with 4 points each. In the varsity game Tucker Valley got the win in overtime by the final score of 31-26. Macy Helmick led Tucker Valley with 16 points and Corrinia Lipscomb added 8 points for the Lady Wildcats in the win.
GLENVILLE – The Lady Wildcats Girls’ Basketball team traveled to Gilmer County on Friday January 11th for a JV and Varsity contest. Tucker Valley picked up the win in the JV game in overtime 22-17. Regan Herron led the Tucker Valley JV team with 7 points and Brylee Wetzel chipped in with 6 points for the Lady Wildcats in the win. In the Varsity contest Tucker Valley got the win over the Lady Titans 29-21. Autumn Russell led Tucker Valley with 7 points, while Macy Helmick and Corrinia Lipscomb added 6 points each in the win by Tucker Valley.
