DAVIS-THOMAS GIRLS’ & BOYS’ BASKETBALL UPDATE

MT. STORM – The Davis-Thomas Boys’ team and the Lady Bears team traveled to the Annual Union Tournament on Thursday February 14th. The Davis-Thomas Girls’ team picked up the win over Union in the first round by the final score of 29-21. Katelyn Simmons and Lillian Callaway led the Lady Bears in scoring with 8 points each.

The Davis-Thomas Boys’ team also got the win against Union in the first round by the final score of 37-19. Aaron Quattro led the Bears with 10 points and Maddow Anderson chipped in with 6 points in the win for Davis-Thomas.

MT. STORM – On Saturday February 16th the Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams returned to Union for the Championship games in the Annual Union Tournament. In the first game the Davis-Thomas Girls’ team fell to East Hardy by the final score of 33-17. Lillian Callaway led the Lady Bears in scoring with 6 points and Katelyn Simmons added 5 points for Davis-Thomas in the loss.

In the Boys’ Championship game Davis-Thomas took home the victory over East Hardy 65-41 to capture the Tournament Championship. Mason Kisamore and Aaron Quattro led Davis-Thomas with 17 points each. Levi Bennett had 12 points for the Bears and Alex Keller scored 10 points for Davis-Thomas in the win. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
