Parsons Revitalization Organization (PRO) was established in 2001 as a Not-For-Profit Corporation with a mission to contribute to the economic vitality of the Parsons area through direct involvement in community and economic development as a private organization to help make the city an exceptional town showcasing our rich history and our bright future.
Our objectives are to support the developmental activity of the City of Parsons ON TRAC (Organization,Training, Revitalization and Capacity), including, but not limited to, fundraising, organizational structure and recruitment of volunteers. West Virginia ON TRAC Program is a creation of Main Street West Virginia to assist communities in their efforts to boost economic and community growth.
The PRO ON TRAC Board of Directors consists of eight local citizens who are like minded and determined in the promotion of the City of Parsons. Our Executive Director is Dr. Cynthia Phillips Kolsun and Diana DeLuca is our Community Development AmeriCorps Member.
PRO works closely with Tucker County, the State of West Virginia and the City of Parsons officials along with business and non profits to help our area continue to grow to be the place where people from all over will come to spend time and is open to all Tucker County citizens who want to help plan for the future of our Little City with the BIG Heart.
