Parsons Volunteer Fire Department displays the American Flag on their ladder truck in honor of 84 year old Verl ‘Nubby” Davis, who recently passed away.
Davis was a member of the PVFD for sixty-five years, joining at the age of sixteen. He was the longest member and the oldest member of the Parsons Volunteer Fire Department.
Last call was broadcast over the scanner at the time of the funeral service, ending with “…No repsonse. We’ll take it from here, Nubby.”
