The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Eddie M. Salisbury, Clay, was cited for failure to maintain control by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Mark A. Holsinger, Elkview, was cited for expire MVI by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Michael P. Flanagan, Coalton, was cited for expired registration, no MVI and no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest to the first two charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50. The last charge was dismissed with proof shown.
- Charles E. Skinner, Thomas, was cited for cell phone use by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. He was assessed fines of $100.
- Jonathan R. Entenmann, Hurricane, was cited for expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Douglas G. Canon, Davis, was cited for expired registration and no proof of insurance by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. Both charges were dismissed with proof shown.
- Grant E. Jacobs, Charleston, was cited for no insurance and no MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Both charges were dismissed with proof shown.
- Kyle H. Stemple, Parsons, was cited for expired MVI and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled guilt to the first charge and no contest to t he second charge and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
- Heather L. Simmons, Martinsburg, was cited for speeding (74-65) by K.L. Keplinger. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Thomas N. Jonys, Warrenville, IL, was cited for stopping violation by Sgt. C.D. Siler. The charge was dismissed.
- Timmy L. Parsons, Charleston, was cited for passing in no passing zone by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Thomas E. Berg, Herndon,Va., was cited for speeding (79-65) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Marshall Dwaine Parsons, Jr., Hambleton, was charged with one count Prohibited person. According to the complaint, on Friday, Feb. 22 at approximately 1 a.m. the victim, Morgan Parsons, reports that the suspect, Marshall Dwaine Parsons, was distraught about his building and began verbally taking it out on her. She states that the accused allegedly began punching her in the head and her hand. She did have bruising and swelling on her right hand. A witness on the scene advised she allegedly saw the accused push the victim. The suspect is the victim’s husband and the incident happened at their residence. While searching the home for Parsons, Cpl. J.E. Kopec observed a shotgun in the suspect’s bedroom and made a mental note of it. At approximately 7:45 p.m. Kopec was back in the Detachment and observed that the suspect had a previous conviction for domestic battery on Feb. 3, 2017. At 10 p.m. He informed the victim of the situation and she provided Him with written permission to search the home for the weapon. Kopec allegedly seized the weapon and one shell was recovered with the weapon which was loaded. Parsons posted a $1,000 PR bond.
- Skyelar David Carrico, Thomas, was charged with one count Domestic Battery. The complaint states that on Saturday, March, 9 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Cpl. J.E. Kopec responded to an active domestic call reported by the victim, Hannah Watring. The accused is Skyelar Carrico. Upon arrival Kopec observed and photographed multiple items to be broken in the house. The victim allegedly had reddish marks on her face, shoulder and arm all caused by the accused. A written statement from Watring advised an argument ensued upon waking up and it became physical. She stated the accused hit her in the head, threw her on the ground causing her pain and leaving red marks on her. She states he also smashed two televisions and dumped clothing on the floor. Kopec arrested Carrico for domestic battery. Carrico had scratches on his neck and stomach he was transported to the Parsons State Police Detachment and then to the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. He posted a $1,000 cash bond.
The following case has been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Taylor R. Dilley, Hambleton: He received judgment of no contest for expiration of registration and certificate of title. He was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
